Strategic Plan

The Governing Board and Senior Leaders strive to ensure that Sussex Road Primary School is the best school it can possibly be.

During the 2023-2024 year, the School Plan will focus on the following:

• Developing and delivering a professional development programme that allows absolute consistency in all classes.

• Reviewing and refining highly effective teaching approaches in Year R and Year 1 to ensure all pupils, especially vulnerable pupils, make good progress.

• Refining progression frameworks in Writing, Physical Education, Design Technology and History.
